Moving Portraits

Hundreds of thousands have left their homes in Kobane because of the war to escape to Turkey and they have been settled refugee camps. What was waiting for them back home after the war? In this series, which has two layers, I have removed the portraits of the refugees who took refuge in camps. My first visit was to the camps and second was to their neighborhood, homes. In the photographs, I replaced their body forms with the city landscapes which refugees will return to.
